But, through the best of times, and the most difficult times, God has been with us and brought us through the fire. In the midst of trouble, pain and sorrow, we have still been exceptionally blessed.
After many years of living in various parts of the U.S., we have settled back home in Indiana. (Pun intended). Both of us are Kentucky natives, but with strong roots and ancestry in the Hoosier state. Here is where we hope to spend the rest of our lives, snugged down in Posey County, surrounded by the familiar and beautiful countryside.
Greg and I have shared an avid interest in art since we were children. When Greg became disabled, I began selling my work. Until recently, it was only available via in-person purchases through me. However, with a bit of help, I'm now making my work available via local business showings as well as the internet.
I maintain a standard of selling only raw photography. In other words, my photos come as they are, without being digitally enhanced, save for resizing and lighting, when posted on the world wide web.
What photography I've contributed to be a part of a written publication has often been digitally augmented by the author(s), and were taken by request, with a specific "view" for the literary publication. However, when it arrived to the writer(s) to incorporate into their literary projects, the photos were not augmented. They were later augmented by the writer, and this was done with my permission for the sole purpose of the imagry matching the tone of the written content.
My husband may be disabled, but he is also with me on my of my shoots, and is always helpful in making decisions regarding what shots I take, keep, and discard. I'm forever thankful for his support.
I hope you will take the time to browse through the galleries. Each photo was taken because the scene moved me, and many of the photos that are available for sale come with a small poem, written by me, relating to the scene. New photos are added frequently, as well as links on where to purchase them.
We are also passionate in supporting locally owned and operated businesses. To those who have made my work available to their customers, and given a spot on their wall for their guests and patrons to enjoy and arrange for to purchase, we thank you and sincerely appreciate your interest and assistance.
If you should have any questions, or wish to contact me, I'm available via email at: aliciajaye@hotmail.com.
God bless, and thank you for visiting my weblog and on-line gallery.
